Our Story
Pretty Tough Ladies was established by our Founder Mckayla who is a Domestic violence survivor herself and on her own healing journey.
PTL started in humbling beginnings as a support group for women struggling with mental health on their healing journey after experiencing trauma.
Mckayla quickly noticed the gap for resources and essential needs (clothing and hygiene) for women and children so out of her kids and her own closets she started the free boutique in the center.
As the need grew, so did donations from the community to help more women and children.
Pretty Tough Ladies helps not only women who have survived and escaped domestic violence, but also women struggling with Mental health, Recovery, divorces, child custody battles, and poverty.
PTL helps women and also children of all ages, with clothing, shoes, and hygiene items while also providing and partnering with community resources including mental health support groups.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
